TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a single-ply roofing membrane that’s become the dominant choice for flat and low-slope commercial buildings. It arrives in wide rolls, gets fastened or adhered to the roof deck, and — critically — its seams are welded together with hot air to form one continuous, watertight surface. That hot-air weld is the reason TPO roofing holds up so well: there’s no adhesive or tape at the seams to dry out and fail over time.

For existing TPO roofs, we repair punctures, re-weld failed seams, and reflash penetrations rather than pushing a full replacement you may not need.

How long does a TPO roof last?
A quality TPO roof, installed correctly and maintained, commonly serves for a couple of decades. Thicker membranes and good detailing at seams and penetrations extend that life, while heat, ponding, and neglect shorten it — which is why maintenance matters.
